Terms and Conditions
Payment Arrangements
A non-refundable deposit of £50.oo is required to confirm the booking when you sign and return the written agreement that you will receive in the post. A booking is not deemed as confirmed until this payment is received. Payment of the outstanding ammount is paid on the night. Late deposit payments may result in the booking being cancelled unless alternative payment arrangements have been made. Payments can be made by postal order or cheque. Alternatively payment via PayPal.
Setup/Dismantling
We require suitable time for the installation, dismantling and removal of equipment (minimum of one hour both before and after the event). Please ensure that safe and adequate power is available.
Delays
If the start of the event is delayed due to us being unable to gain access to the performance area, or any other delay beyond our reasonable control, we will not be liable for any refund whatsoever.
DJ Conduct
The DJ and any assistants will conduct themselves in a proper manner throughout their attendance at the venue and will respond to requests as to volume, situating of equipment and/or any other reasonable requests.
Supervision
Please ensure you provide adequate supervision of guests, including children, at the venue. You will be liable for any loss of or damange to the equipment or personal belongings, caused by guests attending the event. Under these circumstances, we reserve the right to terminate our services, with no refund.
Abuse
We are to perform in a safe, non-abusive environment. Any mistreatment or abuse of the DJ in any way, or anyone accompanying him, will result in the immediate termination of our services, with no refund.
Injuries
We are not liable in any way for any injuries that may occur due to the actions of you or your guests. This may include, but is not restricted to, drunkenness or any other form of intoxication. However, this does not negate our responsibilities and provision of Public Liability Insurance.
Cancellations
Any cancellation by yourself will result in the loss of the deposit, or full payment, (which ever is applicable). In the unlikely event of cancellation by Eddie James Disco, this will result in a full refund of the deposit or full payment (whichever is applicable). We reserve the right to withdraw our services should we discover that the venue is unsuitable or dangerous. In this event no refund will be made.
Childrens Events
The supervising adult will provide the DJ with assistance in the organisation of children during any games played at the event. They will also ensure that the children do not interfere with the disco equipment, or prevent the DJ from performing his duties of playing music and organising games. We reserve our right to terminate the event for safey reasons should this occur. In this event, no refund will be made.
